Yeah, it's not even busy for 24 hours, just wanna know what you guys think of it.

I think it's just a 6 man TA, loads of TA/RA builds around, don't really like it. Maps are boring, really got the feeling I'm missing something when playing.

My guild is gonna gvg rest of the weekend, maybe some HA if we're 6 and waiting for others to come online.

Yeah I sorta feel the same. Although the 8man teams can feel tedious at times with either too much defense or too much offense, but indeed the 6vs6 does seem lacking. I could see 6vs6 TA but maps and incentive would become a problem.

Loving it so far. Might have something to do with winning consistently though. (Something I'm not used to in HA.)

Could you please elaborate on why you think it feels more like TA builds than HA builds ?

I like the pace of 6v6, although there seems to be some balance issues with degen. The Crip shot + Melandru's + stuff template seems to dominate pretty much everything else in 1v1 maps for what I've seen.

There seems to be a lot of rangers, 4 man rspike, trappers, thumpers, cripshot and melandru's arrows pairs, and mixtures of the previous

Firstly I get a TA feeling while fighting, just some running around, especially in 1v1, never had it that strong with 8v8. Secondly you see a lot of thumpers, smiters, boon prots, the usual TA stuff. You're not really able to fit enough skills for all maps, relic runs are not fun with 6 people imo. The maps are obviously NOT made for 6 players, holding altars is very hard, capping is easy, just have to blind a few people and you got it.

Dunno, it's not complicated enough imo. Can't really describe it tbh.

50% of what I've seen this weekend so far has been vimway, which I never see in TA, 30% is smite which is also a staple HA build. But you are right I have seen some more complex balance style TA builds in HA this weekend. Maybe HA players can finally learn some skills that are valuable outside of HA.

oh ya and if thumpers and boons are a TA thing does that mean that GVG is becoming TA??

Well I love it so far.

So much new, strange, gimmick things. So much good guild playing. So much fame to get. So stupid to make vim/iway/bspike - Balanced time!

Also playing my PD meser while there is no SB in meta is just wicked :P

I like it very much so far. So far I've only done HA with guild groups filled up with Alliance members. I prefer GvG but if there are only a few people we normally don't do any PvP or just TA. This is at least a little bit more fun ^^.

I dont like the weekend. Its just a fame farm rush, with lots of boring TA builds. Boon prots, thumpers we've seen it all.... There are not enough people in the team to fit all the necessary skills. Its more paper scissors game than it used to be. Less skill, more luck. Altar maps are kinda pointless now.

I dont like the team arenas feeling... They just scrapped old good HA and didnt added anything new.

We want the old to come back.

I really don't like this event. Personally i think it destroyed HA. You see tons of people running vimway and other sub par builds. After a few friends and I ran a r spike build in HA, you see people either countering it or playing it like D/Mo way during the nightfall preview. Also people who don't normally play HA come to HA with no knowledge whatsoever. In the american districts, I've seen people advertising for MM and Stance tanks, i mean wtf?

It's new, comeon. This is jsut to get people into the HA. When this event is over (assuming that they keep the 6v6), people will just develop new HA strategies, a new HA metagame will come up, the new players will learn a little about HA, and life will go on.

There is a difference. I came to HA to get better and to win halls for America. Most of the people came during event is to rack up some cheap fame with no intention to continue playing in HA after the event is over.

I am a huge fan of 6v6.

Groups are easier to make and at the end of the day I get to play rather then build.

I stopped playing this game because making groups was such a task. If I wanted to make a good r9+ balanced group it would sometimes take an hour.

With 6 man teams I can start playing the game more.

As for the builds. Many non HA players are playing this weekend and there isn't enough time to test and create many new builds.

I think if 6v6 was implemented as permanent for HA more builds will eventually be created.

Creating a 6v6 arena for nightfall, keeping a 6v6 HA ( and letting 8v8 be GVG) would be a great move.

I would actually just like to see a 6v6 arena in nightfall that gives fame. 6v6 would arguably be the "real man's HA". and by "Real Man", i mean people who don't want to blood spike.
